Tutoring/Mentoring Solutions for Middle School to College
This program meets during the school year, for up to 3 hours daily, to help prepare STUDENTS to pursue a STEAM-related field in college. Participating in this program helps you to attend the Explorer Center Summer Camp!

For Middle School-High School students:
STEAM + C is used to jump start middle school youth preparation and transition into high school and college, respectively, for future careers in STEM.
Includes special projects designed around the student's needs.
For College Students:
- Tutoring/mentoring
- Work-study program
- Independent research programs catered/designed around the student's needs.
**Please note: College students do not need to be previous members of the student programs in order to make a request**

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers mainly assist in summer camp, after-school programs, and mentoring/tutoring.
Who can volunteer:
- High school students for community service
- Adults (after completing a BCI check and fingerprinting)
- College students in a STEM-related field
